Editorial standards & medical reviewers

Content on amnioticwoundgrafts.com is written for licensed clinicians and procurement staff. Every clinical and reimbursement article follows the standards below.

Sourcing

  • Reimbursement claims are cited to CMS.gov, MAC LCDs, or the Federal Register.
  • Regulatory claims are cited to FDA guidance, 21 CFR 1271, or device listings.
  • Clinical claims are cited to peer-reviewed literature (PubMed-indexed).
  • Every published article has at least two primary sources.

Review and freshness

Billing content is reviewed at least annually and after any CMS final rule affecting skin substitutes. Each article displays a "last reviewed" date and the reviewer's credentials.

Reviewer roster

Medical Reviewer — EDIT ME

Reviewer name pending

Wound care / podiatry / vascular surgery — credentials to be added on engagement. We do not publish fabricated reviewer identities.

Billing Reviewer — EDIT ME

Certified coder pending

CPC / COC credentials with wound-care specialty experience.

Reviewer names are placeholders until a contracted clinical and billing reviewer is engaged. Articles published prior to engagement carry an explicit "reviewer pending" notice rather than a fabricated credential.
